Menu development, brand and spirits education

Chris began bartending in Los Angeles while still in school for his PhD in organic chemistry. Since then, he has trained, studied, and managed among some of the best bar and restaurant talent in California (Julian Cox, Proprietors LLC, etc.) and at multiple different restaurant and cocktail bars, including Cole's Red Car Bar, Redbird LA, General Lee's Chinatown, and Honeycut. Day moved to the Bay Area in late 2018 where he managed the bar and spirits program at Tartine Manufactory before taking over as manager of the Kon-Tiki in downtown Oakland in March of 2020; a tenure which lasted all through the beginning of the pandemic. He is currently behind the bar at Bull Valley Roadhouse in the historic town of Port Costa.
