The Tiraspol wine and cognac factory KVINT began its history in 1897, when a purification warehouse was built and began operating on Vokzalnaya Street, where forty-proof grape vodka was prepared from wine materials donated by residents of surrounding villages. The production of divins began here only four decades after the discovery - the first distillates were laid out for aging in 1938.
