In our family, the tradition of making pálinka stretches back five generations. Our story began with crop cultivation and farming on the fields. However, our passion for pálinka has always been an indispensable part of our lives, and so the knowledge was passed from generation to generation, and this is how Árpád pálinkas were made—initially just for our own consumption. What may be considered special in the world of pálinka is that in our family, women participate with the same passion, equal to men, in the making of this national treasure. We believe that true, premium pálinka speaks to women just as it does to men. Thanks to the women, pálinka has naturally become a part of our kitchen as well, thus finding its way into the favorite dishes of the male members of the family, not only as an accompaniment. Respect for tradition and continuous innovation are both present in the production and consumption of pálinka from the beginning in our everyday family life.
