More than 800 different spirits from around the world were evaluated by the respected panel of judges this year at USA Spirits Ratings, including some newcomers and longtime favorites.

Rémy Martin XO is an award-winning cognac. The cognac brand Rémy Martin is named after the vintner who began selling it under his name in 1724. The 20th century saw the development of the brand into what it is today, one of the world's most well-known and well-liked cognacs. In 1927, the initial VSOP expression was released. The choice was made in 1948 to only use grapes from the Petite Champagne and Grand Champagne crus, which led to higher-quality Eaux-de-vie. Furthermore, although appearing to have existed forever, Rémy's famous XO expression was first introduced in 1981. The Cellar Master of Rémy Martin created the XO brand by expertly blending hundreds of Eaux-de-vie. They are able to fully express the aromatic richness of this XO Cognac Fine Champagne due to his skillful blending.

The House of Rémy Martin, proud of its history of winemaking, drew its inspiration from the center of the Cognac region. The House of Rémy Martin is known for producing Cognac Fine Champagne, a "appellation d'origine contrôlée" that combines eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus of the Cognac region.

Quality is the foundation of the House of Rémy Martin. Thus they established the Alliance Fine Champagne to guarantee they have access to the necessary quantities of premium grapes each year. They collaborate closely with the alliance's around 1,000 winegrowers, offering guidance on meeting the Rémy Martin standard and preserving the knowledge and expertise developed over three centuries.
